Our activity director, Emily, makes residents’ ideas happen: gardening, cooking, bingo for prizes, book club, crafts and “manly movies” for the men’s group. We’ve had puppy visits, students who come to play games, and yes, even axe throwing in the common area!
One of our favorite events? A murder mystery party! Our “victim” laughed so hard tears streamed down her face while everyone tried to solve the case. Who knew our residents had so many secrets?
