Meadowview of Davenport Director Returns to Cassia

Sarah Coy Headshot Mvd

Meadowview of Davenport Executive Director Sarah Coy is no stranger to Cassia, which manages the independent and assisted living community in eastern Iowa. She previously served as director of nursing at Newton Village about 137 miles to the west for five years.

Sarah left that job to serve as a nurse consultant in the Quad Cities area.

Then, one day, she ran into two Cassia home office employees who happened to be in her neck of the woods.

“We stood there catching up and, as we parted, I said, ‘If you ever have an executive director job come open, you let me know,’” Sarah says.

That happened several weeks later. Sarah applied, interviewed and accepted the position.

“I’m excited to come home to Cassia,” Sarah says. “I’m excited to learn and grow in this role that is new to me. I’m excited to see what a great year we are going to have here at Meadowview of Davenport as we grow as a team and a community, living out our mission.”

Sarah has 30 years of nursing experience. She has three grown children “who are the reason I work so hard to serve.”
